Biography:
Khary Bruyning is a native New Yorker, but now resides in Miami, Florida. Khary was raised on the streets of Harlem in the upscale neighborhood of Strivers Row. Khary was raised by an old school West Indian family a Guyanese father and a Jamaican mother. “I tell friends that I grow up like a Hugstable on the Bill Cosby Show. My father was a doctor who had an office on the ground level of our home. When I got old enough I became the part time receptionist. My mother was a public school teacher, so my education became a great experiment.. I got sent to private school, public school, military school and when all else failed boarding school in the Santa Cruz mountains of Jamaica”. Bruyning’s higher education included, Hampton Institute, Miami-Dade College and Florida International University”. As the son of a medical doctor and school teacher, I told my fathers and mothers friends that I was interested in law but upon attend college I discovered my passion lied in learning about Mass Media.

Bruyning’s media career started in broadcast production at WPLG TV in Miami, Florida, as a Floor Director and then an Assistant Photographer, commonly called a Grip. His next move was to except a job as Lighting Director for Arista Recording Artist Mandrill. Upon completion of a National and South American tour Bruyning became Lighting Director at WTSP TV, Account Executive at WRXB AM, WZNE FM, WXTB FM, and Sale Manager at WWWB TV.

In 1995 Bruyning opened Rainforest Media, he is best known for marketing The Florida Classic Football Weekend while it was played in Tampa, Florida and Kings of Comedy National Tour and Movie. In resent years Bruyning Company has expanded to include Digital Photography and HD Video Production. Khary biggest hobby is Butterfly gardening where is often brags about the 10 different type found in his garden in Miami Florida.
