Biography:
Khary S. Bruyning, is president of Rainforest Media & Tourism Consulting. His company is blend of Media and the Environment. The native New Yorker has deep ties to the Caribbean and South American, but calls South Florida home.

Rainforest Media is based in Miami’s Liberty City the heart of the black community. “I love being based 10 minutes from Miami International Airport, downtown Miami’s business center and South Beach, - south Florida’s entertainment center.”

Rainforest Media & Tourism Consulting media services include: Video Production, Photography and Media Placement. The environmental area services include: Butterfly Garden Design, Eco-Tourism Planning and Environmental Education.

Bruyning leaned his craft by working in various radio and television stations including: Post Newsweek’s WPLG TV, Great American Broadcasting WXTB FM and the Hearst Corporation’s WWWB TV. His job titles have included: Camera Operator, Floor Director, Lighting Director, Producer, Account Excutive and Regional Sales Manager.

Bruyning's company, Rainforest Media, is best known for promoting the Florida Classic Football Game in Tampa Bay, and the Kings of Comedy National Tour. “I enjoyed working on the Classic every year, especially watching the half time show with the Florida A&M Rattlers and the Bethue Cookman Wildcats."

Bruyning has produced several radio and television commercials and developed photo presentations and video documentaries for corporate organizations.

The environmental side of the company is run by his partner Alison D. Austin, the former Director of Training at the Organization of American States. She was also the former Director of Communications & Outreach for Audubon of Florida.

The company has done work throughout Florida, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Currently, Rainforest Media is spending more time working on independent film projects, streaming video for websites, and community based projects like the Magic City Children’s Zone.
