Biography:
Kenneth P. Rushing, a thirty-three
year old Philanthropist and Civic Leader, is
a real estate tycoon out of Tampa, Florida.
He was raised in the Projects of Oakridge in
Des Moines, Iowa, and was arrested for selling
drugs serving seven years in federal prison.
During his incarceration, Rushing decided to
change his life around, and prison became an
institution of higher learning. Upon his release
in 2000, he was twenty-seven years old, and
had earned his GED and accredited learning certificates
in everything from real estate investing to
finance.
In
2002, Kenneth P. Rushing founded The Rehabber’s
Superstore, Inc. Today, as its CEO and President,
Mr. Rushing oversees the thriving real estate
investment company which earns millions of dollars
a year, and has since bought and sold over 1000
properties. A few years later, he founded House
Hustling Enterprises, Inc., a corporation with
a social conscience, designed to help motivate,
educate and inspire minorities, teaching them
how to successfully invest in real estate. Through
House Hustling, Inc., Mr. Rushing also creates
employment in the African American Community
and supports over 200 African American Businesses.
He says, “In order for the African-American
economy to thrive, we must support one another.”
Kenneth
P. Rushing has conducted many powerful real
estate seminars across the country for various
audiences, including The Essence Music Festival,
Bad Boy Entertainment, Harlem Renaissance New
York Chapter Club, The National Book Club Conference,
Reverend Al Sharpton’s Annual National
Action Network Convention and the Harvard Law
School: 2007 Innocence Network Conference.
Mr.
Rushing has also been featured in many print,
magazine, radio and television media including
